I purchased this plane a few months ago and it arrived very well packaged and ready to be put together. The online instructions were easy to follow. My first maiden flight I noticed a very loud growling sound at the upper end of the throttle. The 4S battery has amazing response making the plane easy to hand launch if you don't have a runway. However, by the third flight the propeller was eating into the cowling. The magnets holding the cowling on had come unglued and was free floating behind the propeller. I'm waiting for another clear day to take it up again.

I usually do not comment or leave a review GOOD or BAD on anything but I cannot ignore what people are saying about this plane and I will try to see how short I can make this review. First I need to say that whoever says that this plane is GOOD for the money (quality and flying) MUST compare it to an example like the E-flite Extra 300 and they WILL RETRACT their statement - for just $100 more you get a WELL built and flying plane - right out of the box - and you get a RECEIVER INSTALLED and TUNED to the plane with STABILIZATION you can turn ON & OFF if you want - there just is NO comparison and you can "take that to the bank". I have MANY manufactures of planes and this is one of the worst quality planes I have ever purchased. The paint falls off just about looking at it. The motor mount is terrible (cracks easily) causing vibration and there are other bad points. See the thread on RC groups concerning this plane. Also, three of us seasoned fliers at the RC field bought this plane and we all have had these and other problems - one of the fliers saved $30 on this plane during the Memorial Day Sale and he still regrets buying even with the discount. I have I cut my loses and sold this plane after 3 EASY flights with SOFT landings - I practice SOFT landing a lot. BTW, I have other planes in my fleet from Hobby King that I am pleased or at least OK with. I would like to say more but I need to keep this short before I run out of characters and for everyone's benefit. Let's see how long this stays up before getting deleted

Awesome flyer, but the finish and decals on the plane are poor. Still would recommend as a first 3d plane. It's 3d capabilites are awesome and is very easy to handle with the rates turned down. Takes okay off of medium grass.

Bought as an aerobatic sport model as not interested in 3D flying.
Good quality for money. Assembles easily, flies well. Wheels needed replacing. I fly with 4s 3200, 30c

Pros: flies well, easy assembly, love the big hatch, easy access to battery, don't have to try and cram it in there. Nice color scheme.
Cons: the spinner and wheel axles are absolute crap. The posts in the spinner where the screws go are too small for the screw heads, tried to drill them a bit bigger and one post just broke right off. Anything less than a perfect landing will bend the wheel axles. Paint comes off easily, not uncommon on foamies though. The servos are pretty slow and don't center too well. For the cost of the plane I would expect better.

Excellent flyer

Shipping very good I live in Virginia received airplane in 3 days. Plane looks very nice in the air and handles very well. Now for some bad points. Number one one servo in the wing was not centered. Number two theservos in the wing hit the servo covers at 100% travel to the point where they physically move the covers. Number three the ESC is not mounted to the airframe. Number four I do not understand why they cannot send a little extra Hardware do not lose the small screws nuts and washers, because you cannot find them locally. You will need a high C battery to fly the airplane for any length of time. I'm flying on a 60c battery and managed to get about 4 minutes.

Flys good, but very poor quality landing gear for grass. My plane was also shipped with missing paint and a damaged aileron although HK did offer me a partial credit.

If you like good flying, high roll rate, aerobatic 3d planes. You need to try this one out. I guarantee you cannot fly this plane and not enjoy it. Really well balanced.
