A Pretty Good WarmLiner. A plane for windy days.

A pretty good warm-liner.
Good solid build quality.
Fairly easy assembly. Found the V-Tail linkages to be at an odd angle
Much heavier than an Elite Conscendo
Just enough space for a 2200 4C 60S Zippy on its side. All these warm-liner-glider cockpits are tight.
Flies really well.
Amazing fast. Much faster than the Conscendo for reference.
Flew it in 15+mph winds. No problem. Huge high speed loops were a blast.
1/3 (or so) throttle for hand-launch.
Highly recommended.

First flight plane flew right out of my hands . Not an issue at all . Climbs are great . I would say great for a second aircraft or first with plenty of Sim time. I wished it to be faster for a hotliner but maybe I can fix this . It's more warm liner speeds with great climb rate. I would have gave all 5 stars if on my first landing of this one and my first v1 didn't break behind the trailing edge. This was grass landing . Check out SupremeRc on all social media..

Overall a great glider to own whether you fly it or just admire it's beauty.

On the short maiden flight this glider tended to climb under acceleration so I will try to change the balance to fix this. It tracked well with only one click of down trim used. The battery was the nano - tech 2250 4s which fitted well with a strip of sand paper under it. The landing was fast on a day with light wind so i hope to try flaperons with about 1mm down elevator compensation for the next landing when I get a chance to fly again.

High Speed or Slow the Excalibur V2 performs great

Whilst I have yet to crack the advertised 100MPH I have got awfully close at 159KPH (98.8MPH).
Initially there was a failure of the ESC during the second only flight (promptly replaced by HK under warranty) and so far there have been no issues with the replacement but I have changed the default timing (auto) to High since experiencing a couple of "stutter" problems at engine power up.
I generally fly with a 4S 2200mAh 40C LiPo (it also flies fine, just a tad slower, with a 3S 2200mAh 30C LiPo) and find that not only does the V2 exhibit exhilarating vertical performance under full power, it glides extremely well with a very low sink rate and under the right conditions it also thermals very well (with both 4S & 3S batteries). If you are into gliders and/or High Speed flight then this is definitely a plane you should buy, but you need to be quick as they sell out fast.

I'm impressed with the flight characteristics of the plane but the motor blew up after about 8 flights.Tryed to claim warranty but your form wouldn't let me send the claim.

Flies very well, exceptional handling. All marred by a poor assembly process. Plastic wing root pieces came loose after one flight requiring re glueing to repair. Prop caught on the canopy after gliding and applying throttle ripping the canopy off. Decals already coming off, not sealed. Not impressed by the poor finish applied to a performance aircraft.

Looks great ..... flies well. Quality is lacking. The plastic housings at the wing root are not well glued at all. Both wings loosened after 1 flight only. Required repair to secure these plastic housings properly... re glued both wings. Nose geometry is poor, the prop caught the edge of the canopy when re started after a glide. This ripped off the canopy. Not impressed at all. Had to change angled sides to deflect prop. Overall not happy. Lot of cash, poorly assembled, decals already peeling. Think twice before you buy.

Was very fast shipping, arrive at door steps within 5 days.
A couple of things that I didn't like are the ailerons connection to the RX and the gap between the motor firewall and the spinner.
Although it did state that it's a 4 channels model, durafly should just include a Y servo connection and let us have an option to use 5 channels instead. With 5 channels we can have an option of snap flaps and ailerons differential. What I did was to cut off the connectors and made it to 5 channels.
The other is the gap between the spinner and motor firewall, I think it should be a little closer. The gap is quite big.
With the re- crimping of the aileron connectors, built it in just over 2 hours.
